The success of the Big Bang Theory can be due a lot for the amazing cult following and hilarity behind the character Sheldon Cooper. Sheldon is a theoretical physicist is causes it to be a part of his job to let everyone know just how smart he is. It doesn't matter if you are a CEO or a garbage man, Sheldon Cooper is going to do what he can to speak above you and make you feel stupid.

It's not your fault that Sheldon Cooper is sensible than you, after all, he is a Caltech employee along with a theoretical physicist. Just because he's the smartest man in the room, it doesn't mean he's the only one. Sheldon has to share his apartment with his other friends. Leonard Hofstadter is his closest friend on the show. Across the hallways lives Penny, who is played by Kaley Cuoco.

They may all live their lives in their own separate ways, however in the end they all need each other to get through simple daily occurrences, or whatever life can throw at them.

Sheldon's family members include George Cooper (his deceased father), Mary Cooper (his mother), Missy Cooper (sister) and George Cooper Jr (his brother).

What exactly about the early life of Sheldon Cooper? There was not too much information on this on the show. We meet Sheldon's mother several times, but the little information on his life before what you see on current episodes is little to none. Although, his mother did leave us with the information that Sheldon did create a nuclear reactor at the chronilogical age of thirteen years old to be able to provide free electricity in the town.

As for school life, Sheldon applied for the University of Texas in Austin at the age of eleven. This obviously was right after completing the 5th grade. Sheldon went on to graduate from college summa cum laude, at the age of fourteen. Where did Sheldon end up after school? Lacking the education to rise him over the crowd, Sheldon had to get a job of his own and worked like a visiting professor at Heidelberg Institute in Germany at age fifteen.
